During Chance's first baseball game of the season, we were amazed to see and hear a loon fly over the field. It was a gray, cool day with light winds. The loon was flying fairly high and if he had not called out, we probably wouldn't have recognized him. We live in an area surrounded by a half dozen lakes so its likely he was heading for one of them. (His general direction was toward Linwood Lake.)
