I live on the south side of Jacksonville, FL, about a mile from the St. John's River. I have a butterfly garden with milkweed, lantana, porterweed,blue coneflower, shrimp plants, loads of impatiens and parsley. Although, I have seen many sulfurs and a few zebras, I was visited by my first monarch today.
I teach high school biology and ecology .
