All Other Signs of Spring

This is the most prolific bloom I have seen in the seven years on
my little ranchette. Everything is maxing out. Agarita, Black Cherry,
Madrone, wild grape & all the trees. I counted 18 different wildflowers on a
1/2 mile walk this evening. And as a nuture lover -- tonight at about 6pm a
female wild turkey was hanging around an area about 50 feet from my house
just outside a wire fence 15 feet past my veggie garden. This was the first
time we have ever seen a turkey on our property and that is incredible. I've
seen as many as 30 together about four miles from my house. Never in my
backyard. Our horse was agitated by it but it didn't seem to mind the horse.
Our dogs watched it intently for about five minutes but didn't go for it. I
will be very lucky if it chooses to hang around here. Where there's one
there are often several.
