First shoots of swamp milkweed came up yesterday.
Summer is going to jump out at us in a day or two.
Heavy wet snow hit the northern plains and the
southern prairie last week. I had 6 inch dumps
on Tuesday and again Wednesday - records for
this area outside Winnipeg - with little damage.
Conditions for milkweed are now excellent.
