I was surprised to see a very healthy female flying around my milkweed on Saturday. I located 10 eggs which I've brought inside to raise. This is the earliest I can remember seeing a Monarch here in Michigan. I'm in the far SW corner of the state, just off the coast of Lake Michigan about 90 miles east of Chicago.
