We saw the second Monarch of this season, on May 26th, at 4:30 P.M. temperature: 75 degrees, calm afternoon and partly cloudy. It was a female in excellent condition. It landed near the milkweed but layed no eggs and it left after about four minutes. It continued north at roof top height.
