Monarch Egg (FIRST sighted)

Date: 05/28/2004

Number: 1

A beautiful adult female arrived at 5:15 pm this afternoon to help me celebrate the last day of school. She was busy laying eggs on the common and swamp milkweed in my garden. The temperature was 70 something with a light breeze out of the north. She seemed to prefer the tiny milkweed to the plants that had grown to about 1 foot.
