The sole monarch I saw was flying on one of the few sunny days we've had
here in the past few weeks. The temperature was around 75 and there was a
light breeze blowing.
The milkweed I mentioned is in my garden, much to our landscaper's dismay.
I won't let him touch it because I supply it for all six of our second
grade classrooms in the fall during our monarch life cycle study. Last
year our second graders released around 25 monarchs.
