Finally saw my first monarch of the season at 6:00 pm last night (June 9) while working in the garden. It just dropped down out of the sky and flew around and went to the common milkweed which is in full bloom. Couldn't see if it was a male or female it kept moving so quickly. Last year I saw my first monarch on June 8 here in Burlington Co., NJ.
