We have 10 monarch caterpillers that are pupating, more or less simultaneously. The eggs were laid on a swamp milkweed, in our back yard, on 6-26-04. So far, all look healthy, & I am hoping for the adults to emerge in two weeks or so. These caterpillars were collected and hand reared when they were at the 3rd instar.
