I saw the first monarch since spring this afternoon. It was nectaring and patroling in the back yard, flying back and forth between the butterfly bushes and a snowball bush. Last year
there were sporadc sightings throughout the summer, but not this
year.
Our weather is dry. We have set new record low temperatures on 5 of the last 6 days.
