Monarch (OTHER Observations)

Date: 08/17/2004

Number: 1

I haven't reported any sitings and thought I should bring you up to date with our monarchs as I wait for migration to start.
I haven't seen any monarchs for weeks. I usually can easily find 20 to 25 eggs or caterpillars in a summer. I found 6 eggs this June. Then nothing. I hatched out the 6 monarchs and watched them fly away. The last one hatched on July 16th. I have seen one monarch since then. It was about 3 weeks ago. If you had to go by me it will be a very light migration. I hope to hear better news from the rest of the country.
