Today, 23 Aug., a slightly faded female Monarch almost flew in the window of my
pickup truck then took off SSW, in the Pemberton Heights district of Austin,
Travis Co., TX. These individuals that appear to have been moving through in
the last two weeks are earlier than usual but the weather has been cooler than
usual.
