Monarch Fall Roost

Date: 08/27/2004

Number: 4

7:30a.m. The 4 monarches that roosted in the yard overnight were observed to flash several times before departing from their roosting site this morning. They, again, nectared on the bee balm and butterfly bush in the garden before flying through the trees - definately heading south.
