I have found two more caterpillars over the last week. This brings me to 12 (7 now in chrysalis) caterpillars in the last two weeks. I only found 6 total in June to give me a season total of 18. This is not down as far as I feared. I usually have around 24. These last ones are really late. My peak migration time is usually August 28. We are supposed to have a killing frost next week (2-1/2 weeks early) which would mean any still out in the field would be gone. I think only 3 of mine will have hatched by then. I am glad I kept looking this year and saved a few anyway.
