We have seen 5 to 6 monarchs on one milkweed site. A female remigrating has been hanging around for 2 weeks and finally in the past several days we have seen the fruits of her egg laying. 56 larva in various stages. Other sightings at other milkweed sites have produced nothing. To date we have tagged and released 27 monarchs mainly reared only 5 wild. We are hopefull though things are picking up.
