Monarchs are again active at the Choctaw Trails site in southwest Jackson, Mississippi. This week a few eggs (ca. 35) were found on Aclepias viridis; also 1 large final instar and 1 first instar larvae were found. A small number (usually around 5-6) adults have been observed in oviposition or nectaring on goldenrod and ironweed.
