I caught a female laying eggs on my tropical milkweed in the garden outside my office. Over the next 6 days she layed 247 eggs. From those eggs, 227 hatched. The larvae were raised in my lab with 218 making it to the chrysalis stage. Today (9/3/04) the first adult was released.
