We have seen 44 more monarch caterpillars in various stages of deveolpment in our hot spot patch. This is the patch we observed on remigraitng female stay for 2 weeks.That makes close to 80 in the last 2 weeks. The weather here is bad and there has been no movement in terms of migration. One patch we monitor has shown 5-10 caterpillars dead in spider webs.
