Monarch (OTHER Observations)

Date: 09/17/2004

Number: 1

Our classroom is a flutter! Over 25 hatching this week--wonderful experience-We had a few butterflies with only 3 wings-missing the right hind wing--a nubbing is present there--Affect of BT Corn or chemicals?? Any one else have this? Good discussion about that. Released 15 only 4 males, 11 females--no real peak in migration here either, but the numbers do not seem down though. Just a late season.
