Monarch Fall Roost

Date: 09/19/2004

Number: 1

3 individual monarchs (1 male, 2 females) observed roosting in hackberry/ eastern red cedar treed area. Weather was clear and in the 70s; and there was a light southern breeze.

So far this migration I have seen about 1 monarch a day trickle through North Texas, and this was the first time I saw 3 together and saw a roost site. Jill
