Monarch Fall Roost

Date: 09/18/2004

Number: 100

Hello,
I am not an avid butterfly watcher however last week (09-10-04 thru 09/20/04)a very interesting sight is in mine and my neighbors backyard. I have a hedgeapple tree that is full of Monarch butterflys. I would have to say that I probably have at least 100 of them on a tree and I can see a lot of them in both my neighbors backyard. I decided to do a little search on the web to see if they were migrating or what and I'm going to assume they are migrating, I remembered a little bit about the monarch butterflys from elementary school(I'm 37 years old now). Just thought I would share the information with someone because it is a lovely sight to behold.

Thank You,
