The last monarch here eclosed on 9-24-04, and flew off, no doubt headed south. We have had mild weather lately, and we have several flowers blooming, to provide food for the monarchs as they migrate through. We have daisies, daisy fleabane, and goldenrod blooming, & our neighbors have petunias blooming, as well. Despite the late arrival, and low numbers of monarchs that came to our neighborhood this spring, we were able to raise and release a total of 28 healthy adults.
