Today we had a flock of about 24 robins in our front yard ( a birch tree forest with most of the yellow leaves on the ground). They were foraging under the leaves. We live about 5 miles northwest of Fairbanks. It was about 35 degrees F this afternoon. The first snow is on the hills and we may have some on the ground tonight.
