Discovered 10 monarch larvae, and they looked like they were in their 4th or 5th instar. They were feeding on milkweed, Asclepias currasavica, which did not bloom this year. The monarch larva and tussock moth caterpillars denuded the milkweed plant.
Note that we did not see the adult monarch.
