Atypical is certainly the operative word for this year's Monarch migration. In the past two week, after a couple of hard freezes, we have had singleton Monarchs feeding on our remaining flowers every sunny day. I tagged them even though this is not the typical Monarch roosting behavior of migrating Monarchs. I am anxious to read the conclusions drawn from this unusual year!
