The peak of the Monarch migration was last week in Kingfisher, Okla. from
10-5-04 thru 10-8-04, averaging 40-50 per sighting in my garden. After a
cool front and rain this weekend and the sun coming out today, I am still
seeing about 6-10 Monarchs at one time coming in to nectar.
Low 48 last night. Temp- 63, wind NW 12, low pressure, bright sunny skies.
Another cold front coming in tomorrow. And still have 3-5th instar
caterpillars on my milkweed.
