We planted on 10/7/04. Glad we got them in when we did, because it's so much colder now! Van Meter is a small,friendly, rural community. Our school mascot is the bulldog. We have less than 600 students enrolled in our school, and our school also conducts classes for grade levels K-12.
Van Meter is the home town of the famous Cleveland Indians pitcher, Bob Feller.
