Waves and waves of Canada geese have been flying south in the Lake Champlain Valley since dawn, at least. A strong north wind and cold front blew in over night.
While at the airport observation tower later in the day, we heard conversations between pilots and air traffic control. "Probably birds," the controller said to explain the unidentified blips on the radar screen.
