Last yr I planted milkweed and many nectar flowers for all butterflies, but especially Monarchs. I tagged and released close to 300 Monarchs thru Dec of last yr 03. This yr I have not had as many. I have released and tagged 50 this yr 04 and still counting. People if you plant the correct host food and plenty of nectaring flowers you will have butterflies.
