A terrible year here in Door County, WI. We usually raise several dozen cats, but had only a handful this year. Monarch sightings were few and far between. The best single day this season was Sept. 22, with a large number of monarchs moving along the shore of Lake Michigan, nectaring on goldenrod. That was my only successful day for tagging. Very frustrating! I hope next year shows improvement.
