We planted 20 Red Emperor tulip bulbs. It was a little sunny but chilly here in Maine. We have 18 students in our class. The day before planting, we cut open some bulbs and looked inside. We found that they had layers, and the ouside skin was very fragile. It looked like an onion inside. We liked planting our tulip bulbs!
