Greetings I am a wildlife biologist on Fort Hood in North-central
Texas. I follow the news on MonarchWatch and I follow the patterns of
migration on Fort Hood. Yesterday and for the past week I have observed
30-40 monarchs at a time nectaring on cowpen daisy, frostweed, and
annual sunflowers. If I had to guess, I would estimate that I have seen
several hundred in the past week.
