Today, on the way back from Kingston, we dropped by
Presqu'ile Provincial Park. We spotted two monarchs.
One was flying very high, but the other landed on a
nearby lawn and I hand captured it for Lincoln to
examine. Monarchs were also seen the day before in
Kingston.
It would seem that there are many late monarchs that
in all probability will not make it to Mexico.
