The 7th grade classes planted tulips in our control garden and in our experimental garden. We have some bulbs on north facing slopes, some on south facing slopes, some planted on the south wall of the school, some 4 inches deep and some 9 inches deep. In addition we have a control garden in which we followed all planting instructions. The weather was sunny, windy, and about 50 degrees.
