Our tulip bed was just planted this afternoon -- about a month late for this area. We have already had two frosts, so we are hoping that our planting wasn't too late, and that our tulips will survive the winter, emerge and bloom. (The temperature today was barely 50 degrees Fahrenheit and the predictions are for falling temperatures over the next week.) We planted 50 bulbs next to last year's sight. The two combined sights should give us over 100 blooming plants this spring.
