Today we planted our 12 Red Emporer Tulip bulbs. It is a cold November day, 34 degrees (but the weather report says it feels like 25!) and I think we got them in just in time as it began snowing shortly after we finished. A group of 10 Youthbuild volunteer helped to plant the bulbs after making a special little raised bed from bricks that are found all over our urban mini-farm.
