Tulips PLANTED

Date: 11/09/2004

Number: 1

On a very sunny and cool day,Nov.9,2004, 45 kindergarten children planted 100 Red Emperor bulbs with the help of 5 mothers and one of their teachers. Our school is Mary Queen of the Holy Rosary in Lexington KY. Our kindergarten is very lucky because we have our very own garden and it is a bird sanctuary! We have many plants in our garden that are native to Kentucky but we also have our tulips! This spring should be very showy because we participated in this study last year,so we should have about 200 bulbs coming up!!!
