Our garden is quite large! Actually, it is spread out all over south east Lincoln. Each 5th grade student was given a tulip bulb with the JN instructions as to how and were to plant in their home gardens. We first drew the bulbs in art class. Over the winter I plan to force different types of bulbs to bloom in water, and we will draw these too. In the spring the students will report when their bulbs emerge and bloom. A letter about the project was sent to the parents in the hope that they will follow the activity on the Internet with the family at home.
