I was looking at the list of gardens in the database and didn't see ours listed so I thought I'd better report it planted. We also installed temperature probes in our garden to see if the bulbs generate heat when they sprout. We placed 4 probes; one near the surface of the soil, two were placed 7inches deep with a cluster of 4 bulbs and one was placed 7 inches deep in just soil. So far the probes in with the bulbs always register warmer than either of the others. We don't know why this is so. We have even taken the probes out and switched them to make sure they were reading accurately and we still get the same results.
