Robin (WAVE seen)

Date: 01/22/2005

Number: 1

At least four dozen robins rested in the tree branches during a snowstorm. They remained from sunrise until just before noon. They appeared to be moving north.

I grew up only a mile from the sighting and have never seen a flock of robins. Moreover, sighting a robin is generally thought of as an indication that spring has arrived. It usually happens in April or May.
