At least four dozen robins rested in the tree branches during a snowstorm. They remained from sunrise until just before noon. They appeared to be moving north.
I grew up only a mile from the sighting and have never seen a flock of robins. Moreover, sighting a robin is generally thought of as an indication that spring has arrived. It usually happens in April or May.
