I spotted a mature bald eagle on the Turner Resevoir, which is on the border of Seekonk, MA and East Providence, RI. The eagle was flying at tree-top level and landed in a tree on a small island about 100 yards offshore. I've been a resident of this area my entire life (49 years) and I've never seen an eagle here. There is a nesting pair in Scituate, RI near the resevoir, so perhaps this is one of those eagles.
