Today we saw the robins actually eating worms from the ground. It's been four days now and they are still here. The ice storm that came two days ago is over. Things are beginning to melt. About fifty red-wing blackbirds are also here and are being chased by the robins. This is a first time for us seeing so many robins. A wooded farm area near our home was cut down this summer, perhaps that's where they usually go.
