I was washing the dishes yesterday morning when I saw a robin perched on a bush outside my kitchen window. Being only the end of January, I was surprised to him. My mother stated that some robins have been known to stay for the winter. I don't know if this is the case with our robin, as this was the first I had seen him for the winter. He was fat with a very bright belly, so I must assume he is healthy.
