Friends hve calles and I have observed, flocks of Robins working the cedar trees and holly berries. Most trees are stripped clean. In the midst of our latest 3' snow fall and 40 mile an hour winds, a very fat Robin took refuge under a cedar tree outside my office window. When I say fat, the bird looked like he had swallowed a baseball. This morning a male Cardinal visited the office picking off the remaining berries from the Woodbine Vine. Still cold, in the teens.
