Robin (WAVE seen)

Date: 01/29/2005

Number: 1

We experienced a sleet/snow weekend with temperatures in the low 30's. Over 150 robins converged on the 2 Bradford pear trees in my backyard in Cleveland, GA to eat the small berries on the tree and the ground on Friday before the weekend storm and stayed through Sunday. The robins gorged themselves eating frantically, resting on the branches and patio during the storm. A few cardinals and starlings joined them during their visit. When the weather cleared on Sunday afternoon, the robins left.
