The weather in Cohoes, NY had been below freezing -20 for a few weeks prior to the sighting. The last couple of days it went up to 34 during the day & zero at night. There have been about 30 robins in a front berry tree. The berries are now gone, but they have been flying into the holly shrubs in front of the house. Those berries appear to be gone now. There is also another shrub toward the front of the house, that they have been eating those berries also. There is a wooded area in back of the house, they might be living there.
