I opened my back door to put out some nuts and seeds for the squirrels and birds this morning. Surprise! I heard the familiar chirp of a robin, who I finally saw sitting in a large tree. I have not seen any others here this winter. This is the earliest I ever remember seeing them! Happy Day! (It is also my daughter's birthday today.... a great present!)
