I counted 14 of them in my tree in the yard. I did not observe them feeding on the ground or elsewhere - they just seemed to be hanging out. Since that time, I have seen more robins in the neighborhood and around town - also just in the trees. Still much snow on the ground, so don't know what they would eat, anyway. I have feeders, but have not seen the robins indulging. I don't recall seeing Robins around here in late january or early february. We have had a bit of a warm spell here this past week. Temps in the 40s during the day, but back into the 20s at night. I had an email from a friend in Florida this week that said they have many hundreds or even thousands of robins that also seem to be "hanging out" in the trees. Is it normal to have Robins in Michigan this time of year?
