I saw at least a hundred (or more) robins flying in and out of two or three trees on Fort Myer's Beach. There were also about 20 on the ground, feeding, I believe. They seemed to be driving out smaller birds from these trees. There was a buzz of activity, but it didn't seem like they were singing. I talked to a long time resident, and she said she has seen hundreds of robins here, only on one occasion a few years ago.
